to offer any help i can give.

Any other personal information/resources/advice/ideas to share?

I see many ideas but none that click.Everybody seems to be waiting for a hero, or suggesting that we give up the few things that make this life barely worth living.I see the eyes of the people around me every day and they all share the same thing, despair.Even if a sustainable vision did present itself, I don't think that any of us alive today, would live to see the benefits. My wife and I left the city, sold the new van, and bought a small peice of hardwood forest. We gave it all up, and what do we get?Treated like two headed aliens.People are diving into this stuff, and the ones around them just leave them hanging. There is a need for the support groups, I have a thick neck, and a thick skull, and like DQ said, "Anyone can make friends", but there are alot of people who do not have any support. This shouldn't be viewed as a club or a "program", it should be about making friends plain and simple. In times of crises, friends are all we have.
