Why are you here?
Because I have grown increasingly discontented with the way I see humanity progressing (if that's the term!). I am a great supporter of Albert Einstein's statement: "You cannot solve a problem with the same knowledge it was created", or something to that effect. I read "Ishmael" slowly, an hour at a time, and feel that helped me to assimilate the concepts appropriately, and was immensely uplifted on reaching the final chapters. I hope to make a difference, if not "save the world"!!!

Any other personal information/resources/advice/ideas to share?
In line with the Einstein comment, I like to look at an issue as a continuum straight line, with two extreme positions at the ends. Most solutions are compromise positions somewhere on that continuum. I see the true evolutionary solution as being somewhere at right angles to the continuum. The problem is to twist our minds around a concept that is truly "in the void", ie. unknown. How do you go somewhere when you have no idea what that place looks like? That is the challenge, and the adventure!
