    Why are you here?

Ever since reading Ishmael for Anthropology my freshmen year of college I have been an avid supporter of Quinns ideas, teaching all I can to friends, family, coworkers, etc... Because his ideas are so much a part of my personality, I feel as though I would like to be permanentley connected to a community of similarly inspred individuals who hope to spread the message of B to others so that our species, and our planet, may survive.

Any other personal information/resources/advice/ideas to share?

Spreading powerful ideas is difficult. I often feel let down when a friend doesn't finish one of the bboks I lent them or wasn't quite as moved. reversing anothers entire belief system, even in the face of incredibly convincing, logical arguments, has definitely been an incredible challenge. I own eight copies each of Ishmael and The Story of B and have become a virtual Quinn library. Still, despite my uphill battle, I have not loost faith in the power of ideas to move and am convinced that any human being with a functioning intellect and open mind will find Quinn's work incredibly powerful. Of all literature I have ever read, none has the power and ability to change minds, even the most staunch and unwavering ones. More than offering any of my own advice, I want to ask for others. My small personal campaign to change minds has been relatively succesful but I would love to learn from the approaches of others.
