Important New Paper by Russell Hopfenberg

It is heartening to see yet another addition to the scientific literature upholding the conclusions presented in Ishmael and other of Daniel's writings. Russell Hopfenberg's "Genetic Feedback and Human Population Regulation" joins his "Human carrying capacity is determined by food availability." It has been published and will be coming out in the print edition of the journal "Human Ecology." The author's copy of the paper is available online at Genetic Feedback.

It is a scholarly work (and so by no means "easy reading"), though Hopfenberg's conclusions are readily comprehensible by the lay reader. For example: "Recent studies have indicated that the sixth great extinction is currently taking place. It is not difficult to imagine that the human species may eventually be one of many moving towards extinction, especially because of, not in spite of, our great numbers. However, a choice is evident. Either the cultural behavior, which involves primarily the socially reinforced paradigm that increased food production and growth are necessary, needs to be extinguished or the human species itself is at risk of extinction."
