The Ishmael Community: Questions and Answers

The Question (ID Number 111)...

You indicate that salvationist religions (SR) developed many years after and indirectly due to totalitarian agriculture (TA). But just because TA led to SR, is SR inherently against Leaver principles? Leavers believe all kinds of different things and have no qualms with the different beliefs of other Leaver peoples. Why not tolerate SR?

    ...and the response:

I always hate it when people ask me to defend or explain statements I've never made. Nowhere have I said that salvationist religions are "inherently against Leaver principles." I nowhere say anything remotely like that. The salvationist religions don't ask for "toleration," they ask for adherents.
