The Ishmael Community: Questions and Answers

The Question (ID Number 103)...

Doesn't modern medicine, with it's ability to prolong life, add to the population problem?

    ...and the response:

All medicine is intended to prolong life, so "modern" medicine isn't special in this regard. All creatures take every action possible to prolong their lives. In other words, if it's okay to defend yourself against an attacking lion, then it's equally okay to defend yourself against an attacking microbe.
