The Ishmael Community: Questions and Answers

The Question (ID Number 704)...

I don't know how relevant or likely this is, but I was wondering if you ever considered the possibility of starting your own weblog? With so many cheap or free options out there, like Blogspot or LiveJournal, and your inspired perspective on the world, it seems like it would be a wonderful fit, and a means for you to explore smaller ideas that might not make it into book form.

    ...and the response:

Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought of it. A few years ago I considered the possibility of writing a weekly column--which is essentially a print-medium blog--but I soon discarded the idea. I just don't have a weekly reflection to share with the world, unless it comes as an answer to some question from a reader such as yourself. The Q&A archive is as close as I'm likely to come to having a blog.
