    Why are you here?

I have three requests that I would like to present to Ishmael supporters: First, I would like to ask for help in answering a question I’ve received concerning Daniel Quinn’s biblical story of man's fall and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Second, I would like to know if any of Ishmael followers have a plan for preventing Man from destroying himself. Our recommended plan can be found at: http://www.ranchwest.com/index.html.

Third, I would like to challenge people to send me their thoughts on the points of concern I’ve presented in the following papers: http://www.ranchwest.com/point1.html; http://www.ranchwest.com/point2.html; http://www.ranchwest.com/point3.html; http://www.ranchwest.com/prairie.html. In closing, I would like to say there are four primary reasons for my making the above requests: Reason 1 - try to stimulate meaningful communication between people who live in rural areas and people who live in the cities; Reason 2 - try to connect people to the land and all that’s natural; Reason 3 - try to impress upon people the vital role natural grasslands and prairies play in sustaining our very existence; Reason 4 - try to encourage people to help us turn our country's natural resource degradation problems into a life sustaining opportunity.

Any other personal information/resources/advice/ideas to share?

The Ranchwest mission is doing what we can to minimize the impact of the impending catastrophe on our children (having to cope with hunger, loss of open space, thirst, unbreathable air, and lawless confusion) by trying to save as many remaining large pieces of our country's natural grasslands and prairies as we can, and as many good points of our country's ranching heritage as we can, for the long-term benefit of society.
