New Webmaster for Ishmael and NTV Sites

A couple of years ago we made a similar announcement, saying that Alan Thornhill, the original developer and watchdog and manager of the websites had to step aside because of his very demanding job as Executive Director of The Society for Conservation Biology. Though he had selected someone to take over, somehow things never worked out, and Alan continued to try to keep up with the websites along with all the duties of his "day job."

But now we'd like to introduce Cathy McIntosh. Cathy is the webmaster for The Society for Conservation Biology, so has been working closely with Alan, and has agreed to work with us as well. She holds a BS in Computer Science from San Jose State University and has been involved in web design and development for over six years. A recent transplant from California, Cathy now lives in northern Virginia, and says that when she isn't chained to her computer, she's usually exploring the greater Washington, DC, area and keeping up with three active children.

Cathy will begin working with us in the next week or so, and we expect to gradually make updates and clarifications on the Ishmael site.

So, welcome, Cathy. And Alan, thanks–though we won't actually say good-bye–just au revoir.
