Since the problems we face have to be addressed internationaly, how is Ishmael‘s message being received globaly?
It’s certainly BEING received, since it’s in (or soon will be in) most major world languages. If publishers in places like Germany, Japan, and China believe there’s an audience for Ishmael in their countries, this in itself says something about its perceived relevance. (They don’t publish books they don’t think will be read!) The book’s French publisher is convinced it will be a best-seller in France when it appears this spring. We’ll see.
