“If the world is saved, it will not be saved by old minds with new programs, it will be saved by new minds with no programs at all.” Does this statement (taken, of course from THE STORY OF B) sound like I’m “expecting a cultural change without a fundamental inner change”? People of this culture have a desperate need for spiritual candy—I don’t blame them, I understand it. But I personally have no spiritual candy FOR them. In THE CELESTINE PROPHECY, James Redfield offers a new source of spiritual candy. That is simply not what I’m about. If we go on this way, our grandchildren are going to reach maturity in a devastated world—and the fact that we had all the candy we wanted is not going to be much consolation to them.
