You’re involving yourself in an irrelevant argument. The fact that we’re “different” from birds doesn’t mean that the laws of aerodynamics don’t apply to us. The fact that we’re “different” from elephants doesn’t mean that the law of gravity doesn’t apply to us. Our being different doesn’t exempt us from any known physical, chemical, or biological law. All the difference in the world will not save us if we topple the ecological systems that sustain the entire community of life on this planet. Concede that we’re different—every species is different—and go on from there.
