If I were to say “There IS one right way to live,” then of course I’d have to explain what I mean by “right way.” But all I’ve said is that NO such way exists.

If a zoologist tells you there’s no such thing as a unicorn, and you ask him what a unicorn is, he’ll say, “How can I know what a nonexistent animal is? It’s a figment of the imagination, and if you want to know what it is, you’ll have to ask the people who imagined it. All I know is that it doesn’t exist.”

The same is true of the one right way for people to live: all I know is that there is no such thing. It’s a figment of the imagination, and if you want to know what it is, you’ll have to ask the people who imagined it.
