I’m afraid I know of no such book (I wish I did!). My own comparisons are based simply on observations of our own culture and on reading anthropological studies of Leaver cultures; which never specifically address general notions like “suffering” and “well-being.” From what they DO describe, it’s easy to infer that, in general, aboriginal peoples are cheerful, relaxed, cooperative, relatively uncontentious, tolerant, and so on.
