I’ve been thinking about trying to find those “others” that you wrote about in The Holy. Any advice?

I’m afraid your chances of being disappointed in your quest would be close to 100%. I don’t say that “finding those ‘others'” can’t be done, but back in the seventies (when Carlos Castaneda and his alleged shamanic mentor were all the rage) thousands made the same quest in vain.

You have to remember that The Holy is fiction (even if those “others” aren’t), and in the framework of that fiction it wasn’t just David who was looking for them, they were looking for him as well.
